Pirelli was founded in Milan in 1872 by Giovanni Battista Pirelli and spent most of the twentieth century as a full-line manufacturer, with a serious presence in truck, agricultural and off-the-road tyres as well as cars.

That changed in 2017. Pirelli’s industrial tyre business — truck, bus, agricultural and OTR — was separated out and became Prometeon Tyre Group. Pirelli & C. itself is now a consumer premium car and motorcycle tyre company and does not make commercial tyres at all. Every Pirelli-branded truck, agricultural or earthmover tyre sold today is designed and manufactured by Prometeon under a brand licence, in plants in Turkey, Egypt, Brazil and Italy.

Pirelli-branded commercial tyres have their own product ranges and specifications, distinct from the passenger car range. Choose the commercial pattern that matches the vehicle and application.
